$115.00/yr - $125.00/yr Position Summary
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Warehouse Operations Manager oversees all daily activities within a large‑scale food distribution center, ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant operations. This individual is responsible for managing inbound and outbound logistics, inventory accuracy, productivity, and team performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, experience in food distribution, and a passion for operational excellence and safety. Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse supervisors, leads, and associates to achieve operational goals. Establish performance metrics and drive accountability through coaching, training, and consistent feedback. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Direct all warehouse functions including receiving, put‑away, inventory control, replenishment, order selection, and shipping. Ensure on‑time, accurate, and damage‑free delivery of all outbound orders. Monitor KPIs (accuracy, productivity, cost per case, OT hours) and implement process improvements as needed. Ensure real‑time inventory accuracy through effective cycle counting and reconciliation. Leverage WMS/ERP systems to manage workflows and optimize space utilization. Collaborate with Procurement and Transportation to align inventory and logistics strategies. Identify cost‑saving and efficiency opportunities in labor, space, and process flow. Lead or participate in Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma initiatives. Support automation or technology upgrades to enhance warehouse productivity. Enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies. Conduct safety meetings, equipment inspections, and ensure all employees are properly trained. Qualifications
7+ years of warehouse or distribution management experience. Proven success managing teams of 50+ employees across multiple shifts in a high‑volume environment. Strong knowledge of WMS systems, inventory control, and logistics best practices. Excellent leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
