Business Director, Neurosurgery at Cincinnati Children's Apply to join Cincinnati Children’s as a Business Director for the Neurosurgery division. Responsibilities

Financial Management

- Overall accountability for the department's financial management functions. Develop, implement, evaluate and manage the annual and capital budget; establish internal controls for cash management; implement and maintain processes for financial controls and external financial audits; develop and implement accounts receivable management; analyze and monitor financial performance, report results to stakeholders, evaluate variances, identify causes, present and implement solutions; establish and monitor productivity metrics; ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures. Revenue Cycle

- Responsible for the Division's revenue cycle management, optimizing revenue, ensuring complete and accurate physician and/or hospital billing and compliant coding, monitoring charge capture; pricing, program development/expansion, denial management, and monthly revenue reporting. Business Operations (Clinical)

- Direct and coordinate daily clinical operations; establish and monitor business processes for efficient operations; oversee clinical revenue cycle activities; optimize patient flow to maximize clinical and staff efficiency; develop policies to improve utilization and operations; analyze cost and quality of care to drive operational change; resolve issues in collaboration with the Division Director; ensure policies comply with Medical Center guidelines. Business Operations (Research)

- Lead management of externally funded projects, develop procedures for grant submissions, ensure NIH and sponsor guideline compliance, monitor revenue and expenses with PIs; project future expenditures, manage sponsor carry-forwards, and oversee sub awards, invoicing, and deliverables; manage research staff and space utilization. Human Resources Leadership

- Develop and monitor staffing/retention strategy, hiring/terminations, workforce planning, and succession planning. Support development of department managers; participate in recruitment of clinicians, staff and faculty; manage faculty affairs and records with CCRF, ensure accreditation standards, coordinate faculty appointments with the University of Cincinnati, and oversee leadership development and compliance requirements. Bachelor’s degree in a related field Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field 7+ years of experience in a related discipline Job Details

Expected Starting Pay Range Annualized pay may vary based on FTE status:
