We’re seeking a reliable and proactive Desktop Support Technician to join our hospital’s IT team. You’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting end‑user devices across clinical and administrative departments. This role is critical to ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide hands‑on technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Install, configure, and maintain Windows 11 operating systems and standard hospital applications
Respond to help desk tickets and resolve hardware/software issues in a timely manner
Support clinical applications and ensure devices meet compliance and security standards
Assist with device imaging, deployment, and upgrades across departments
Maintain accurate asset records and update inventory systems
Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to ensure optimal device performance
Provide on‑site and remote support as needed
Qualifications
2+ years of desktop support experience, preferably in a healthcare or enterprise environment
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking
Experience with imaging tools (e.g., KACE, Intune, SCCM) is a plus
Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems
Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a dynamic setting
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
Understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare IT standards
A+ or similar certification
