Patient Service Representative

Baltimore, Maryland
to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team‑based environment. We pride ourselves on providing comprehensive, personalized care in a warm and welcoming setting, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health.
Position Overview This position is perfect for someone passionate about providing outstanding customer service, eager to learn, and ready to start in the dental field. The role involves supporting all staff members and patients: answering phones, handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and assisting with patient treatment plans through acceptable financial arrangements while staying flexible in handling duties assigned by other staff or the Office Manager. What We Offer
Pay: min $21–$25 per hour
Full time: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8am–5pm

Responsibilities
Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
Respond to patient questions and/or concerns according to Policies
Answering Telephones
Scheduling Appointments
Maintaining Appointment Book
Confirming Appointments
Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments
Register Patients on sign‑in sheet
Post charges and payments to patient accounts
Checking voicemail on a daily basis
Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
Qualifications
Experience working in a dental, medical, or other health‑care office, preferred
Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO), is a plus
Experience answering telephone
Must have exceptional customer service skills
