Scope of Activities
Produce costings for contract bids, together with scheduling proposals (Recurring Cost (RC), Non-Recurring Cost (NRC))
Contribute to preliminary design studies (including pre-procurement and procurement) and final design studies
Identify, calculate, and forecast the technical resources and directives required, draw up the corresponding specifications, and monitor their implementation with manufacturing partners
Define the manufacturing file (production sequences, bills of materials, FI, programs, and STL) and contribute to the preparation of the inspection file
Calculate and monitor the recurring and non-recurring costs (RC / NRC) of industrialization, and lead the action plans implemented to converge towards achieving the project targets
Analyze the plans and propose options for design modifications
Validate the definition files prepared by the design office
Produce the test program and/or technical presentation documentation (processes, materials, bottlenecks, resources, schedule, etc.) for changes or new developments / new business
Analyze, interpret the results, and prepare test reports, complete with technical conclusions and potential impacts
Analyze the technical feasibility of production transfers on customer premises (documentation, tooling status, materials, site location, time, etc.)
Develop the operational manufacturing process in accordance with technical, quality-cost-lead time, HSE, and budget requirements
Contribute to tooling design: define process/product constraints and requirements
Contribute to solving quality problems through the use of the 8D model
Optimize workstation layout (work surface, technical and/or handling resources, tooling support, etc.) to ensure that production resources and processes are appropriate
Propose line balancing based on production line time analyses
Ensure that (quality, cost, and lead time) commitments are met
Contribute to value and FMECA product/process analyses, and suggest process or tooling improvements (production time calculation, monitoring of new technologies and methods, etc.)
The activities are to be adapted for employees on work/study contracts (vocational training contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to remain consistent with their theory training.
