Overview This rapidly growing specialty chemical plant, located in the suburbs of downtown Charlotte, NC, is in the midst of a multimillion-dollar expansion. Your responsibilities will include providing production support, optimizing processes using Six Sigma techniques, resolving quality issues based on customer feedback, participating in HAZOP reviews, scaling up new processes, and performing DOEs. The site operates reactors and mixing systems.
This position offers a performance-based bonus, with salary dependent on years of experience, and includes relocation assistance if applicable. The parent company operates multiple sites across the U.S.
Ideal Background Requirements
Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering
4+ years of experience in a PSM‑regulated plant as a Process or Production Engineer
Experience with PLC or DCS controls, Six Sigma, scale-up, and project work would be a plus
Location: Charlotte, NC area.
