Position Summary Belcan is seeking a Quality Data Analyst to support our aerospace manufacturing client full time. This role will focus on managing quality notification data, supplier performance metrics, and process improvement tracking. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, visualization, and quality processes in a manufacturing or aerospace setting.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain SharePoint tracking for all Quality Notifications (QNs) related to the Advanced Structures group.

Maintain metrics for supplier quality performance and develop improved visuals using data from the Escape Tracker system.

Conduct monthly analysis of supplier performance, including red list and QIM records, and identify turnbacks for logging in the Process Analysis system.

Track and analyze performance against key quality targets (e.g., 3‑day containment, 30‑day corrective action deadlines).

Monitor and report on countermeasures implemented in response to supplier issues.

Support EtQ entries for Notices of Potential Quality Escapes (NOPQEs) and collaborate with SQE teams for resolution and closure.

Participate in regular collaboration meetings and assist with turnback and escape management reviews.

Maintain the SQE by Commodity List and ensure all standard work documents reflect current procedures and expectations.

Required Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charting)

Basic knowledge of SQL for data querying and reporting

Understanding of RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) methodologies

Familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization tools

Experience preparing and presenting PowerPoint reports

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Effective written and verbal communication abilities

US Citizenship is required (due to the nature of the work)

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Engineering or STEM field

Prior experience in an aerospace manufacturing or engineering environment

Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $32.00 per hour. Guidelines vary based on many factors including but not limited to education, qualifications, experience, discipline, geographic location, market, and business considerations.
