Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr
A mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting healthcare initiatives in the community, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their growing team. This is a newly created role designed to support the organization’s continued expansion and play a critical part in helping them attract and hire top nursing and healthcare talent.
Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts with a primary focus on healthcare roles (especially nursing).
Partner closely with department leaders to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Manage job postings, review applications, and conduct initial phone screenings.
Schedule and coordinate interviews while ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
Represent the organization at career fairs, health fairs, and other community events to build a strong talent pipeline.
Proactively source candidates through creative outreach strategies and networking.
Maintain accurate candidate tracking in the ATS and ensure compliance with hiring policies and regulations.
Collaborate with the HR team to continuously improve recruitment processes and identify innovative approaches to attracting talent.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in the healthcare sector.
Proven track record managing high-volume hiring.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage candidates effectively.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in ATS/HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Passion for supporting a nonprofit mission and contributing to community impact.
