You will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding promptly to potential concerns. Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing proper protocols for an armed patrol role.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.

Maintain visibility throughout the location to help deter potential issues and provide a reassuring presence to clients and visitors.

Document incidents, observations, and activities thoroughly and accurately according to site and Allied Universal requirements.

Interact professionally with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required.

Carry and responsibly manage authorized firearms and related equipment in compliance with Allied Universal and site-specific standards.

What We’re Looking For

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements

Have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable regulations.

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
