Base pay range:
$90,000–$130,000 annually + bonus plan (up to 10% annually based on company performance)

40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM)
50% in‑state travel, 25% out‑of‑state travel, 25% in‑office (no remote options)
Travel typically planned in advance, but flexibility is key; the Director may have only hours’ notice to travel to a site
Travel expenses resourced via company vehicle and company card; a teammate handles booking flights, hotels, and other logistics
Scope of Work The Safety Director serves as the driving force behind the company's safety culture, leading strategy, training, compliance, and employee engagement with purpose and professionalism. The role ensures all operations meet or exceed regulatory requirements and supports high‑quality, safety‑first project delivery across a diverse portfolio of national retail, hospitality, healthcare, senior living, and large‑scale commercial projects.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Certifications:
CSP, CHST, STS, or CSHO (preferred professional designations)
Experience:
Minimum 7–10 years of progressive safety experience in construction, general contracting, or industrial environments, including at least 3 years in a senior or director‑level safety leadership role
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and NFPA standards; experience managing multi‑state or national safety programs; proficiency in safety software, audits, and compliance documentation
Skills and Competencies:
Proven ability to lead and develop safety teams; strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with executives, field teams, and clients; demonstrated success in reducing incident rates and improving safety metrics; strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and risk mitigation capabilities
Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license; ability to perform site visits, inspections, and field audits as needed
