Overview
Research Faculty Assistant Professor - Medical Oncology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology. This position provides scientific direction for correlative research studies in oncology; participates in developing original research proposals as principal investigator; submits and administers grants; tracks grant submissions; manages a small research lab; supervises research personnel; plans and performs funded research; prepares and submits manuscripts for publication; presents research at conferences; directs research personnel. Minimum Education/Experience
PhD or MD/PhD required; considerable post-doctoral experience in basic research; considerable experience in oncology; proven ability to write scientific reports and publish in peer-reviewed journals; strong understanding of grant writing and obtaining funding in support of research; experience with administration of funded research. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen. Department/Division Overview
