This position is responsible for Planning & Scheduling activities for a large EPC project and provides technical and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation, training, and coaching within a team of Planning & Scheduling specialists. The role requires collaboration with client representatives, Fluor management, and functional leads. Responsibilities
Updating the project schedule periodically in line with the approved Project Controls Reporting Plan. Evaluating impacts from deviations identified according to the project change management process. Maintaining the schedule for all approved changes after baseline in line with the project change management process. Coordinating with discipline leads for maintaining integration between the project schedule and control level schedules. Performing analyses to monitor adherence to the schedule; flagging and communicating deviations from the baseline. Preparing schedule what-if scenarios to support mitigation and acceleration strategies. Preparing schedule deliverables in support of internal and external project reporting needs. Initiating a schedule re-baseline process if actioned after any forecasted triggering events. Participating in Schedule Risk Analysis efforts throughout the project. Other duties as assigned. Basic Job Requirements
Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in an applicable field and fifteen (15) years of related experience, or nineteen (19) years of related experience if non-degreed; additional qualifications may apply by location. Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders. Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job. Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner. Other Job Requirements
Participate in the development and implementation of training courses and mentoring of Project Controls personnel. Support and actively participate in Fluor Project Controls Global Initiatives. Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of Pharmaceutical EPC experience. Experience as a Planner & Scheduler for a large-sized project.
