About the Role
Siemens Smart Infrastructure connects energy systems, buildings, and industries to support sustainable development. The Electrification and Automation (EA) Business Unit seeks a Senior Commercial Project Manager in Wendell, North Carolina, with optional remote work flexibility for highly qualified candidates. Key Responsibilities
Lead the completion of all project commercial and financial matters, including accounting, legal, tax, New Collaboration Model (NCM), and Export Compliance and Control (ECC). Ensure compliance with applicable regulations during offer and execution phases and support the Project Manager in executing projects per Siemens PM guidelines, customer requirements, and Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG). Manage the project throughout the lifecycle as a commercial project entrepreneur, focusing on primary projects categorized as C and ‘small’. Optimize targeted financial results, assessing project gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments. Review and evaluate contract conditions and attachments, ensuring legal compliance. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and opportunities, establishing appropriate response activities. Maintain accurate cost and pricing calculations and overall project books, including SAP entries and month‑end activities. Prepare commercial documentation for status meetings, ensuring data accuracy. Ensure compliance with Siemens FRG, local GAAP, and continuous management of guarantees, bonds, and securities. Manage claims, contracts, and compliance with LoA guidelines for commercial aspects. Promote a culture of trust and integrity in alignment with Siemens Business Conduct Guidelines. Qualifications
BS/BA in finance, accounting, supply chain management, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred. 3–5 years of CPM experience; 10% travel required. Proficiency with SAP and financial systems. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without needing future employer‑sponsored work authorization. Preferred: Siemens C‑CPM certification, evidence of broad field knowledge, team‑oriented skills, multitasking under pressure, and a customer‑orientation mindset. Benefits and Compensation
