Overview

Commercial Project Manager/Financial Controller (Remote) role at Siemens. This position is based out of Wendell, NC with consideration for qualified remote applicants. Responsibilities

Manage the project throughout the project life cycle Support the Project Manager in managing and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care (e.g. project gross profit, cash flow, assets and financing instruments) Ensure an adequate handover phase, analyze customers’ requirements, examine their commercial and contractual feasibility and transferability, including ECC matters Drive the review and evaluation of contract conditions including all attachments, ensure examination by Legal Support the PM and ensure correct methodology for identifying, evaluating, assessing risks & opportunities, strategies and response activities Manage Project Finances

Ensure the accuracy of cost, pricing calculation as well as overall project books and records, including recording in appropriate systems (e.g. SAP) Perform applicable requirements for month-end activities Prepare commercial documentation for regular project status meetings and ensure the accuracy of the commercial project data (e.g. FC, cash flow) Ensure compliance with Siemens FRG and local GAAP requirements Ensure the application and ongoing management of financial guarantees, bonds and project securities Support the PM in identifying, minimizing non-conformance costs and establishing an appropriate reporting structure; support the implementation of lessons learned into the project and organization Manage risks, contract and claims by ensuring compliance with LoA guidelines for commercial aspects (e.g. risk management process) Ensure compliance to the standards, rules and regulations of (commercial) project members to act according to the Business Conduct Guidelines and establish a culture of trust and integrity (e.g. adherence of tax regulations, signature rights, segregation of duties, ECC, EHS); coordinate with OR, Legal and Compliance, HR (including Delegation process), ECC, Customs, external auditors Manage customer requirements and expectations in collaboration with the PM Ability to work a large number of midsize projects and prioritize Ability to interpret and execute contract (customer and supplier) terms and conditions Basic Qualifications

BS/BA in a related discipline or advanced degree (Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management), or equivalent professional experience 3-5 years of successful experience in a related field and demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented 10% travel Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrates and applies broad knowledge of specialty through successful completion of assignments SAP experience and knowledge Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines Self-motivated with customer orientation and growth/entrepreneurial mindset Siemens CPM Certification or PMP Certification is a plus Small or “C”Project management experience is a plus Knowledge of organization's business practices and issues You’ll benefit from

Actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location. About Siemens
