As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It’s your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As the Business Strategy and Operations Program Manager, you will manage execution and labor planning for data center products and deployments. You will work on a team that functions as a professional services organization within Google’s Cloud Supply Chain and Operations organization, with an emphasis on customer experience to ensure that the product line is supported with dedicated resources.

Minimum qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience in program or project management.

Experience working in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

Experience working in Strategy and Operations or management consulting.

Preferred qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience managing cross‑functional or cross‑team projects.

Experience performing Business Intelligence or Data Analytics, leveraging SQL and data visualization tools.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Compensation The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $126,000–$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and tooling enhancements to improve service levels and progress towards OKRs.

Lead cross‑functional initiatives with software development teams to define requirements and prioritize efforts. Collaborate closely with partner teams to identify gaps, propose improvement recommendations, foster consensus, and facilitate enhancements to planning processes for data centers.

Facilitate QBRs, OKR setting, headcount management, executive communications, and organize onsite visits.

Problem statement definition, forming hypotheses, conducting research, analyzing data, and modeling to deliver impactful recommendations.
