RoboSense
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our automotive LiDAR development team and help drive the next generation of perception software for ADAS and autonomous vehicle platforms. This role involves working closely with system, hardware, and algorithm teams to develop, optimize, and validate LiDAR software stacks that meet automotive-grade reliability, performance, and safety requirements.

Develop and maintain embedded and application-level software for LiDAR perception, sensor fusion, and control systems. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (hardware, optics, system integration) to ensure seamless hardware‑software interaction. Implement and optimize algorithms for point cloud processing, calibration, and diagnostics. Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure software quality and compliance with automotive standards. Support system validation, debugging, and issue resolution during vehicle‑level testing with OEM and Tier 1 partners. Contribute to software documentation, version control, and continuous integration (CI/CD) processes. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related fields. 3+ years of experience in
automotive software development , ideally involving
ADAS, LiDAR, or perception systems . Strong programming skills in
C/C++ and Python ; experience with Linux, RTOS, or ROS is preferred. Familiar with automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, UDS) and software development standards (MISRA C, ASPICE). Proven experience collaborating with OEM or Tier 1 customers on software integration or validation. Strong problem‑solving and teamwork skills in a global, cross‑functional environment. Fluent in English;
Mandarin proficiency is a plus
for collaboration with global teams. Preferred Skills
Familiarity with ADAS/Autonomous Driving software stacks and perception architectures. Experience with sensor fusion, SLAM, or point cloud processing frameworks (PCL, Open3D). Knowledge of automotive safety and quality processes (ISO 26262, A‑SPICE). Experience with GPU or parallel computing for perception algorithms. Competitive base salary starting from
