Position Overview
ABB is a global market leader dedicated to helping industries operate leaner and cleaner. As a Production Engineering Manager, you will provide technical assistance across all engineering disciplines, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and cost‑effectively. This onsite position is based in Senatobia, MS; relocation assistance may be provided.
Reports to Production Engineering Manager
Role Summary You will work closely with Product Engineers, Operations, Quality, Procurement, and Agile teams to deliver solutions that maximize customer satisfaction through optimal response time, delivery, and product performance. The role contributes to ABB’s Electrification Smart Power division in the United States and supports diverse smart power product families.
Key Responsibilities
Develop technical competency among colleagues in specific areas of expertise.
Determine solutions and product versions, balancing standard and custom scope for medium to high complexity customer requirements.
Lead case management for the resolution of technical issues.
Identify and impart relevant training, qualification needs, and competency verification requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field (strongly preferred).
At least 2 years of engineering experience, preferably in an electrical manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of manufacturing technologies, equipment, and tools.
Proficiency in MS Office and 2D/3D CAD systems.
Experience with ABB Smart Power product families is a plus.
Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
Fluency in English.
