Overview As a Paraeducator Special Education Substitute, you will work with faculty to deliver individualized services to students with special needs. Hours and days vary as needed.
Responsibilities
Provide individual support services to Special Education students in accordance with their IEPs.
Collaborate with classroom teachers and specialists to implement instructional strategies.
Assist in adapting lesson plans and materials for accessibility.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and accommodations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary coursework in education or special education preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of special education regulations and IEP implementation.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
