ABOUT YOU
Passion for customer. Ability to lead and direct the efforts of a customer facing team.
Technical skills. Proficiency in and dedication to the utilization of Salesforce.com CRM tool. Working level proficiency in internet research and MS Office suite; must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Desire to learn. Thorough understanding of the college/university market, B2B selling processes, and B2C marketing execution.
Competitive spirit. Ability to advance through the selling cycle in highly political customer environments.
Great communication skills. Advanced consultative sales skills, interpersonal skill, ability to present and build professional relationships.
Experience. 5-10 years sales and/or marketing experience in B2B customer acquisition and account management.
Education. 4-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
Preferred. Sales/marketing experience in the University market.
YOU WILL
Develop new customer acquisition and opportunity development, translating the business plan into account specific tactics. Track activity in Salesforce.com CRM.
Perform current customer expansion and account management, positioning Jostens as a strategic resource.
Collaborate with the customer facing team to develop and execute territory consumer marketing and event performance plans.
Organize territory planning, performance assessment, and administrative responsibilities.
Support newly hired sales reps as trainer/mentor.
Typical/expected % of overnight travel: 70%.
