Position Description:

Tigunia has an incredible opportunity for a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant with a strong background in implementing Business Central and experience in EDI. This position will support Tigunia's BC/NAV department with pre‑sale services and deal shaping through discovery and demonstration performed via on‑site, remote access, shared session, telephone, and email communications. Manage and support BC/NAV customers on projects and case issues. We are looking for an enthusiastic, client‑focused, empathetic, personable, self‑driven candidate for this role.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Strong knowledge of warehousing, manufacturing, and finance modules

Design, develop, and implement EDI solutions to streamline business processes

Configure, map, and test EDI transactions (X12, EDIFACT, XML, etc.) for smooth data flow

Work closely with trading partners to set up and maintain secure, reliable EDI connectivity

Translate customer processes and requirements into a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solution, including system integrations and recommended ISV's or best‑of‑breed solutions

Prepare clients to use the ERP solution by analyzing business and operations changes, defining, delivering training, and executing testing plans

Manage customer relationships by providing support; answering questions; resolving concerns and issues

Work with the project manager and project team by communicating essential information, obtaining team input, reviewing open issues and action items, and contributing information to team meetings and reports

Continually update expertise by participating in educational opportunities, self‑study, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations

Develop specifications for customizations to deliver desired capability where off‑the‑shelf solutions do not exist

Interact with clients professionally to maintain and add value to the Tigunia‑Client relationship

Work with Tigunia Consulting and Management teams to proactively prevent and/or resolve client issues and conflicts

Demonstrate ERP implementation experience, covering all finance modules for all deployment stages (gather requirements, design solution, set up & configure, test & train, document & communicate, deploy & troubleshoot)

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interactive team management skills

Polished, professional, and confident presentation and public speaking skills

Partner with client teams and subject matter experts to confidently lead requirements gathering and design work sessions, translating needs into solutions that add value

Document fit‑gap requirements, estimate effort, prioritize based on complexity

Communicate functional area progress on project tasks, issues, risks, blockers to project manager

Experience in change management and working with developers on custom code in finance modules

Expertise in creating test plans and supporting clients in test scenarios/schemas, and implementing test strategies

Problem solver: resolve issues and mitigate risks to avoid project blockers and escalations

Ensure Tigunia’s approved implementation strategy is followed for client engagements

The ability to speak clearly, hear and understand at normal conversational level, and receive detailed information through verbal communication

Ability to sit for long periods

Close visual acuity to perform activities such as developing material; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading

Full range of hand and finger motion with ability to proficiently use a keyboard, mouse, and phone

Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, mouse, phones)
