Job Overview The City of Atlanta uses a CRM system to capture, track, and respond to citizen issues and requests. Recently, the city implemented a new CRM solution from Microsoft Dynamics 365. The Microsoft Dynamics Solutions Architect will support the application by designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics solutions to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design and Architecture: collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into functional and technical specifications, design end‑to‑end solutions, create architecture diagrams, data models, and integration plans.
Implementation and Customization: lead configuration, tuning, and optimization of Dynamics 365; develop plugins, workflows, scripts; ensure seamless integration with other systems.
Project Management: oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resources; provide regular project status updates; conduct testing, training, and post‑implementation support.
Technical Leadership: provide technical guidance and mentorship; stay updated on the latest Dynamics 365 features; advocate best practices.
Client Engagement: act as primary technical point of contact; conduct workshops and presentations; build and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years implementing and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions; proven track record leading end‑to‑end projects; experience with Dynamics 365 modules such as Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate), Azure services, .NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL; familiarity with data migration.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, teamwork, time management.
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant Associate
