The Senior People Partner (HR Business Partner) will enable business success, amplify our culture, and increase organizational effectiveness through Cohesity’s People Strategy. This role will support the Sales (WWFO) organization, reporting to the Director, People Partner - WWFO.

How you’ll spend your time here

Strategic partner/trusted advisor to key executives and their organizations, working closely with senior leaders to define and execute business strategies that enable growth and transformation.

Define and execute strategic global HR solutions.

Lead management in organizational assessment and diagnosis to revise business strategies into actions that deliver results.

Drive a high‑performance culture across the organizations you support.

Establish a deep understanding of Cohesity’s overall business and strategy.

Drive organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent initiatives to identify and execute against current and future talent needs.

Lead organizational change efforts.

Engage as a consultant and coach to key leaders, translating business needs into People plans and initiatives.

Build upon our culture, values, and overall employee experience.

Proactively partner with people managers and leaders to build high‑performing organizations.

Adopt a “business first, HR second” mindset—using HR skills, programs, and initiatives to engage with the business.

Collaborate with peer People and Places HR leaders for a “global, then local” approach to organization opportunities and initiatives.

Deliver all HR programs such as performance assessments, promotions, succession planning, and employee engagement plans with excellence and global consistency.

Lead with data and metrics to guide decision‑making.

Inform people managers about change management techniques.

Partner with functions like Finance, Legal, and HR Centers of Excellence to develop value‑added solutions.

Partner with functional and regional counterparts to influence global strategic alignment.

Analyze business and employee insights and metrics to drive system improvements.

Lead company‑wide talent initiatives and collaborate for global success.

Maintain deep and broad connections throughout the organization to inform a well‑rounded, timely, thoughtful perspective on culture.

We’d love to talk to you if you have many of the following

BA/BS or equivalent plus 8+ years of relevant People Partner experience, with a strong preference supporting sales teams.

Strong cross‑functional partnership and interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate with senior leaders, including executive leadership.

A can‑do attitude, agility in navigating changes, and the ability to roll up your sleeves in a dynamic and very fast‑paced environment.

Seeks, collects, and synthesizes information from a variety of stakeholders and data sources in an objective, unbiased manner to raise awareness and/or drive change in the business.

Ownership of HR programs and performance management activities within the business.

A “business first” mindset of understanding Cohesity’s portfolio of products and services, and using that knowledge to apply HR and People solutions and outcomes.

Competence and understanding in the various HR functional areas: employee engagement, performance management, total rewards, learning and development, data and analytics, etc.

Prior experience with a technology company required; cloud, BI/analytics, or platform‑as‑a‑service setting preferred.

Well‑versed in employee engagement and performance management best practices.

Ability to work out of our Heredia, Costa Rica office at a minimum of 2‑3 days a week.

Pay range $125,120.00 – $156,400.00

In‑Office Expectations Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty‑five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2‑3 days a week of their choosing.
