Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist
Join our team at Shady Grove Fertility, one of the premier fertility centers in the U.S. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dynamic medical assistant to provide exceptional patient care in our Washington, D.C. office.
Schedule & Pay Full‑time, Monday – Friday, 6:45 am – 3:45 pm. 1–2 holidays per year. Pay $20‑$23 per hour. Paid parking available.
Key Responsibilities
Phlebotomy, rooming patients and assisting with in‑office procedures
Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients
Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, and communicate physician orders and instructions
Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and families
Support and promote excellence in customer service
Qualifications
High School Diploma (required)
Strong phlebotomy skills
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer‑service skills
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and proficiency with computer applications; accuracy and speed with data entry required
Minimum one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology
