We have an immediate opening for a full-time Medical Assistant to join our Washington, DC office Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:45 am – 3:45 pm, 1–2 holidays per year. Pay: $20–$23 /hour (paid parking available).
How You’ll Contribute In general, the Medical Assistant is responsible for:
Phlebotomy, rooming patients and assisting with in‑office procedures
Assisting with the clinical care of fertility patients
Providing patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, and communicating physician orders and instructions
Establishing a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and families
Supporting and promoting excellence in customer service
What You’ll Bring
High School diploma (required)
Strong phlebotomy skills
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow‑through, and high degree of comfort with computer applications, accuracy and speed with data entry
Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology
