Description Job Title: Area Manager
By partnering with nonprofit organizations, we redirect millions of pounds of quality, pre‑owned items away from landfills and back into closets and homes for reuse. GreenDrop® accepts donations on behalf of our nonprofit partners and pays them for those items, providing critical funding for their missions. Community donated goods are then given a second chance to be loved again in local thrift stores.

What You’ll Be Working On
Effectively manage multiple GreenDrop sites and approximately 40 employees daily.
Maintain complete ownership of all operations involving facilities, logistics, and employees.
Train, coach, and develop employees and ensure performance in accordance with GreenDrop standard operating procedures, policies, and protocols.
Support operations including collecting donations, serving donors, and packing donations.
Assist and fill in at sites during peak donation periods.
Schedule and approve payroll and manage budgets.
Supervise and coach attendants, conduct performance reviews, and provide disciplinary documentation as needed.
Review applications, conduct interviews, and complete HR paperwork.
Monitor site operations, merchandise, and donation volume while ensuring safety is a top priority.
Complete weekly and monthly audits to drive compliance and uphold standards.
Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely service of all locations.
Operate a non‑CDL box truck as required by your market and travel safely between GreenDrop locations.
Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
