We are seeking an Investigator 4 to lead investigations of industrial insurance fraud and related violations. In this role you will serve as a principal advisor, oversee a regional/statewide team of investigators, and provide expert guidance on Title 51, RCW matters. Duties

Supervise lower-level investigators and direct all aspects of investigation activities statewide. Plan and conduct complex civil and criminal investigations of economic benefit fraud by injured workers and providers. Investigate claims of claim suppression, discrimination, tax evasion, and premium fraud. Lead investigative protocols, surveillance activities, evidence collection, and case analysis. Coordinate with claims staff, AAGs, prosecutors, auditors, and revenue agents to achieve effective outcomes. Respond to inquiries from L&I leadership, AAG, and other stakeholders. Perform general administrative duties related to investigations. Qualifications (Required)

Four years of experience as an Investigator 3 within state service, with at least one year as a supervisor or lead; or Six years of experience as an investigator with a criminal justice government agency or private organization, with four years of direct investigative field experience. Demonstrated investigative experience in research, evidence gathering, subpoena service, field surveillance, warrant coordination, report writing, and court testimony. Valid and unrestricted driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications
