Requirements
BS in Electrical Engineering
Experience in FPGA design and development
Nice to Have
Familiarity with AMD / Xilinx FPGA
Experience implementing video subsystems in FPGA design
Proficiency in Vivado Design Suite
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, modify, and evaluate FPGA blocks for electronic equipment or other hardware systems.
Determine design approaches and parameters.
Simulate and verify FPGA designs to ensure proper functionality.
Support implementation of FPGA designs including synthesis, timing, placement, routing, and power analysis.
Analyze design to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong preference for individuals familiar with AMD/Xilinx Zynq FPGAs including Vivado toolset.
Experience with simulation to support verification of applications, including Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) and constrained random techniques.
Familiarity with requirements driven safety critical government regulated industries such as medical or aerospace/defense.
Experience with digital design implementation including synthesis, timing, placement, routing, and power analysis.
Additional Information This role supports the SymplicityTM G4 renal denervation RF generator. We are looking for candidates with 6-10 years of experience. Interviews and hiring will commence ASAP, with a preference for candidates who can work primarily onsite with some flexibility for remote work.
