Summary The Medical Materiel Specialist I will perform general warehousing tasks, customer support, requisition, shipping, receiving, building medical kits, inventory management, quality assurance (QA), cargo preparation and deployment of medical controlled items in a secure location, operation of materials handling equipment, and updating DoD MMIS records.
Responsibilities
Responsible for logistical oversight and inventory management of the 27 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Response Enterprise to ensure precise SLEP/DMLSS statistics and communicate all SLEP related updates to affected units, AFMED, and NGB/SGX.
Conduct monthly reviews and provide monthly reports to the COR of SLEP and DMLSS inventory records to ensure accuracy and program compliance.
Serve as Logical SLEP coordinator.
Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Track and document usage of medical materials.
Assist in procurement of medical supplies and equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Skills and Knowledge
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of logistics field experience (preferably in Medical Logistics); familiarity with and ability to navigate/utilize MMIS.
Must have a Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment.
Pay & Benefits The hourly salary range for this position is $19.24 to $24.05.
