Assistant Controller Location:
Hybrid, Atlanta, GA
Base Pay Range:
$160,000.00/yr – $180,000.00/yr
Employment Type:
Full-time (Mid‑Senior level, Accounting/Auditing)
Compensation and Benefits:
Based on skill and experience. Eligibility for discretionary bonuses, and participation in medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) retirement plan.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations in line with U.S. GAAP.
Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
Ensure internal controls, compliance, and support audit readiness.
Collaborate with tax and M&A consultants for acquisition integration and financial reporting.
Lead and mentor accounting staff, fostering process improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
7+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing/distribution.
Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge.
CPA certification required.
Proficiency in SAP.
