Director, Executive Search | Accounting & Finance | Vaco Overview:
We're seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to support the financial operations of a multi-location organization. This role focuses on month-end close, financial analysis, and operational reporting. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting knowledge with a collaborative, process-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Manage month-end and quarter-end close tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and P&L analysis.
Review contracts and apply US GAAP for new or complex transactions.
Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide insights to finance and operations teams.
Support process improvements that enhance efficiency and internal controls.
Prepare audit support and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
Perform ad hoc reporting and support cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
3-7 years of accounting G/L experience.
Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and deadlines.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
