These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions. Those in tax compliance at PwC will focus on validating clients’ compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will review and analyse financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimising risks of non‑compliance.

Opportunity As part of the Partnership Tax‑Domestic Tax team you are expected to coordinate the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and supporting schedules for the Firm and partners. As a Manager you are expected to supervise, develop, and coach teams, manage client service accounts, and drive assigned client engagement workstreams by independently solving and analysing complex problems to develop top‑quality deliverables. You are expected to manage ongoing tax audits and prioritize multiple tax filing requirements.

Responsibilities

Coordinate preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns.

Manage ongoing tax audits.

Prioritise multiple tax filing requirements.

Supervise, develop, and coach teams.

Manage client service accounts and engagement workstreams.

Solve complex tax‑related problems to deliver quality results.

Maintain compliance with tax regulations and firm standards.

Utilise technology to enhance tax processes.

What You Must Have

Bachelor's Degree.

4 years of tax or PwC experience.

What Sets You Apart

Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance preferred.

CPA preferred.

Federal, state, and local tax return preparation experience.

Knowledge of tax code and regulations.

Tax compliance experience.

Experience with partnership tax and domestic income tax.

Experience with automation and digitisation in a professional services environment.

Experience coordinating the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns.

Experience managing ongoing tax audits.

Salary and Benefits The salary range for this position is: $73,500 – $244,000. Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The role may be based in Maryland. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, holiday pay, vacation, personal and family sick leave, and more.
