Those in tax compliance at PwC will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will review and analyse financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimising risks of non‑compliance. Analyse and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system. Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables. Develop skills outside your comfort zone, and encourage others to do the same. Effectively mentor others. Use the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the expertise of team members. Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate. Coordinate preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns. Manage ongoing tax audits. Prioritise multiple tax filing requirements. Supervise, develop, and coach teams. Manage client service accounts and engagement workstreams. Solve complex tax‑related problems to deliver quality results. Maintain compliance with tax regulations and firm standards. Utilise technology to enhance tax processes. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree. 4 years of tax or PwC experience. Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA. Federal, state, and local tax return preparation experience. Knowledge of tax code and regulations. Experience in partnership tax and domestic income tax. Experience with automation & digitisation in a professional services environment. Experience coordinating the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns. Experience managing ongoing tax audits. Salary & Benefits
Salary range: $73,500 – $244,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
