For the past 35 years Feldman, Kramer & Monaco, P.C. Law has been committed to satisfying the needs of their clients. Because of rapid expansion of the organization the following opportunity is currently available: Paralegal - Probate and Estate Administration (Not Real Estate).
We are looking for a self‑motivated, organized and detail‑oriented person to join our progressive, innovative, and growing elder law department of nine attorneys and a great team of paralegals.
Primary responsibility will be the preparation of Surrogate's Court petitions and related documents for the Probate or Administration of an Estate.
Heavy client contact will be required to support the attorneys in the department represent our clients in Estate Administration, Estate Planning and Elder Law matters.
Additional responsibilities may include the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care proxies, other Surrogate's Court petitions, and guardianship applications.
Job Duties
Excellent client service
Must have strong written and verbal communications skills
Superior computer skills including Microsoft office and hotdocs. Knowledge of Time Matters a plus
Must be detail‑oriented and organized with good analytical and problem‑solving ability
Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast‑paced environment
