Job Overview We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Sr. People Business Partner (PBP) to join our People Operations Team. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and teams across the business, translating organizational goals into impactful people strategies that foster engagement, performance, and growth. Reporting to the Director, People Operations, you’ll provide high-impact partnership, thought leadership, and operational guidance across a range of People topics, including performance enablement, organizational design, change management, employee engagement, and development.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about building strong partnerships, driving results through people-focused strategies, and helping leaders navigate complex challenges with empathy and insight.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership & Organizational Effectiveness

Act as a key advisor to leaders, helping translate business goals into people strategies that drive high performance and positive team culture.

Provide thought partnership around team design, workforce planning, succession, and org effectiveness.

Support leaders in navigating change, scaling teams, and fostering resilient, inclusive work environments.

Performance, Development & Engagement

Partner with managers to build high-performing teams by guiding performance and development conversations.

Collaborate with Talent Development to support effective goal-setting, feedback, and growth opportunities.

Analyze and respond to engagement data to co-create action plans with leaders and track progress.

Employee Relations & Policy Guidance

Advise leaders on sensitive employee relations issues, performance concerns, and conflict resolution, in alignment with internal values and policies.

Maintain knowledge of employment law in various countries (U.S., Canada, Mexico, India, etc.) and HR best practices to ensure compliance and minimize risk.

Data-Driven Insights & Continuous Improvement

Use people data (e.g., engagement surveys, turnover, performance trends) to uncover insights and proactively address challenges.

Recommend process improvements and contribute to cross-functional People initiatives that enhance employee experience.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with People functional teams (Talent Development, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, People Analytics, Transformation & Comms) to support business needs and ensure consistent employee experience.

Support and contribute to People Team projects that scale our operations, systems, and culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred.

10+ years of progressive experience in an HRBP/PBP role; Talent Management and/or Organizational Development experience a plus.

Proven ability to consult, influence, and build trust with leaders and employees across levels.

Experience advising on performance management, org design, change, engagement, and team development.

Familiarity with People/HR tools and systems (HRIS, performance platforms, survey tools, etc.).

Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.

Exceptional emotional intelligence, discretion, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
