As an elected official representing voters in the Bay Area, the candidate has delivered real results on issues like housing, transportation, climate change, LGBTQ+ equality, and criminal justice reform. Now, they are running for Congress to bring their effective, progressive leadership to Washington D.C. Their campaign is building a diverse, passionate, and dedicated team to engage voters across the district and secure victory in 2026. Position Summary
The Digital Organizing Manager will lead efforts to connect our digital supporters with real-world organizing and voter contact programs. This role bridges the campaign’s digital and field operations—building systems to move online engagement into offline action, and creating digital-first strategies to expand our base of volunteers and supporters. The ideal candidate is a creative, data-driven digital organizer with experience using online platforms to recruit, mobilize, and activate people for meaningful political action. Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage the campaign’s digital organizing program, connecting online engagement to field activities.
Build and maintain systems to track digital supporters in VAN and other campaign databases.
Design and implement creative online-to-offline organizing strategies using email, SMS, social media, and other tools
Plan and execute virtual organizing events such as phonebanks, livestreams, and digital volunteer trainings, etc
Recruit, train, and manage digital volunteers and online community leaders.
Collaborate with the Organizing Director and other senior staff to align messaging and mobilization goals.
Use analytics to monitor engagement performance and optimize digital outreach efforts.
Personally engage in voter contact and relational organizing activities as part of the campaign team.
Qualifications
2+ cycles of experience in digital, field organizing, or campaign communications.
Demonstrated ability to design and execute digital engagement strategies that drive measurable action.
Proficiency with VAN, Slack, Social media, zoom, and other critical digital organizing tools.
Excellent written communication skills and creative storytelling ability.
Experience training and managing volunteers in digital or hybrid environments.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as campaign needs dictate.
Commitment to progressive values and Democratic politics.
Experience working in San Francisco is a plus.
