Our client is currently seeking an IT Network and Unified Communication Manager to lead teams responsible for the enterprise network infrastructure. This includes providing support, project oversight, and production activities, while collaborating across business and technology groups. The role also oversees business continuity and disaster recovery planning, infrastructure forecasting, monitoring, configuration management, and budgeting. The manager serves as the subject matter expert for networking infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and evaluate staff across four specialties, ensuring accurate work and problem resolution.
Assign and prioritize tasks and projects to support daily operations and future implementations.
Foster a positive work environment through coaching, development, and morale-building.
Provide technical leadership for software and hardware integration.
Plan and coordinate hardware/software purchases and implementations.
Oversee network architecture, design, and system configuration reviews.
Develop and maintain operating procedures, documentation, and disaster recovery plans.
Direct large-scale computing projects across multiple technologies and platforms.
Ensure software/hardware version control, patching, and security compliance.
Act as liaison between departments for support and project coordination.
Enforce system and security standards in collaboration with IT Security.
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including BSA/AML laws.
Participate in management on-call rotation.
Identify and mitigate risks related to job responsibilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
7+ years in senior IT administrator roles.
3+ years in project management and personnel supervision.
Proven ability to plan enterprise-wide technologies and support change.
Subject matter expertise in firewalls, routers, switches, SDN platforms, and cloud networking (Azure, AWS).
Experience with Akamai DDoS protection and load balancing.
Deep knowledge of networking technologies (e.g., NAT, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, BGP, ACLs, Netflow, encryption).
Expertise in data center equipment (Cisco Nexus, NX-OS, VDCs, OTV, vPCs).
Experience with multi-homed ISP connections and redundancy protocols (GLBP, HSRP, LACP).
Strong knowledge of F5 technologies (Load Balancing, iRules, iApps, LTM, APM, SAML/SSO).
Certifications:
Cisco CCNP, CCDP, or CCSP
Project Management Professional (PMP)
