We’re looking for an experienced
Accounts Payable (AP) Manager
to lead invoice processing, payments, and cash management across both our fund entities and management company.
In this role, you’ll be at the center of our Finance operations — managing day‑to‑day AP workflows, supporting capital activity, and ensuring every dollar moves accurately and efficiently. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership on investment closings, capital calls, and distributions, while strengthening internal controls and streamlining processes.

What You’ll Do
Oversee and process invoices for both fund expenses (legal, due diligence, fund admin, tax advisors) and management company expenses (rent, IT, professional services)
Ensure proper cost allocations across entities and SPVs per partnership agreements
Manage employee expense reimbursements and enforce T&E policies
Coordinate and execute wires for: Fund activities: investment closings, capital calls, investor distributions, and fund operating expenses; Management company: vendor payments and intercompany transfers
Partner with senior finance leadership to maintain dual authorization and compliance with approval policies
Forecast cash requirements and provide liquidity reports to controllers and the CFO
Controls, Compliance & Audit Support
Maintain clear segregation of duties for invoice approvals and wire releases
Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC guidelines, and internal policies
Prepare audit‑ready documentation and support tax filings and regulatory reviews
Serve as the main contact for law firms, fund administrators, and other service providers
Negotiate payment terms and nurture strong vendor relationships
Systems & Process Optimization
Manage AP systems and workflows (Bill.com, QuickBooks Online, or other ERP tools)
Identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes
Support fund and management company reconciliations
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare AP aging reports, variance analyses, and cash outflow forecasts
Track KPIs such as invoice cycle time, discount capture, and outstanding liabilities
Provide data‑driven insights to help guide liquidity and cash management decisions
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA a plus)
5–8 years of AP or fund accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a managerial role
Background in private equity, hedge funds, or fund administration preferred
Proficiency with ERP/AP automation tools (QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, NetSuite, Intacct, Concur, Coupa) and banking platforms (J.P. Morgan ACCESS, Webster E‑Treasury, Bank of New York NEXEN, etc.)
Solid understanding of GAAP, fund structures (partnerships, SPVs), and internal controls
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
Comfort managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, deal‑driven environment
