Base Pay Range $6,783.00 – $7,898.00 (annually)

Mission: To facilitate the successful reintegration of the individuals in our care back to their communities equipped with the tools to be drug‑free, healthy, and employable members of society by providing education, treatment, rehabilitative, and restorative justice programs, all in a safe and humane environment.

Job Description And Duties Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) reduces each full‑time employee’s base salary by 3 %. Salaries do not reflect these recent changes. Part‑time and permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same conditions on a prorated basis. (Link to Survey: Click Here)
Under the direction of the Chief Medical Executive and the supervision of the Correction Health Services Administrator I/II, Correctional Facility (CF), the Radiologic Technologist, CF instructs and prepares patients for radiologic examinations and takes x‑rays for a variety of body structures. The Radiologic Technologist maintains equipment, facilities, and records. The Radiologic Technologist may supervise incarcerated‑workers and manage patient treatment conduct.
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a current valid certificate as a Certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the California State Department of Health Services.
Either:
Two years of experience, including training in radiologic techniques and methods, under an accredited medical radiologist (one year of this experience may be substituted if the applicant has successfully completed the work required for a graduate nurse).
Successful completion of a two‑year training program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association in collaboration with the American College of Radiology.
Note: A Training and Development (T&D) assignment will not be considered at this time.
