Position: SAP Architect (Lease Accounting) Location:
Nashville, TN (100% onsite, Chattanooga or Knoxville, TN)
Contract Length:
13+ months (12/01/2025 – 01/29/2027)
Work Type:
W2, US Citizens or Green Card holders required.
Primary Skill:
SAP – Lease Accounting.
Experience Level:
Intermediate to Advanced (6‑9 years experience).
Responsibilities As an SAP Architect Contractor, you will design and implement SAP solutions to meet business needs and align with architectural standards. Responsibilities include:
Designing and implementing SAP solutions, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP RE‑FX for lease accounting.
Defining interaction requirements for components, subsystems, and interfaces within the SAP ecosystem.
Providing strategic direction and guidance on SAP development and production fixes.
Ensuring alignment of business and technology requirements with enterprise design.
Collaborating with stakeholders to define vision, requirements, and ensure successful project delivery.
Analyzing business requirements and designing SAP FI (GL) and Lease Accounting solutions for end‑to‑end finance operations.
Supporting the full lease lifecycle – contract management, valuation, accounting entries, period‑end close, and compliance reporting.
Integrating lease solutions with SAP ERP, automating posting flows, and supporting robust audit trails.
Partnering with finance and audit teams to drive effective controls and high‑quality financial reporting.
Facilitating user training, process documentation, and ongoing support for general ledger and lease processes.
Supporting ongoing operations, troubleshooting issues, and resolving support tickets related to SAP GL + Lease Accounting modules.
Qualifications
10+ years of SAP experience focused on GL optimization and SAP Intelligent Real Estate with Contract Lease Management (SAP RE‑FX with CLM).
Experience configuring chart of accounts, sub‑ledgers, and accounting processes, including accruals, deferrals, provisions, and FX revaluations.
Exposure to Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Pay $52‑$57 per hour, depending on experience.
