Senior Manager - MSAT & Process Engineering
A leading CDMO is hiring a senior MSAT / Process Engineering leader to own late-stage tech transfers and commercial manufacturing for a multi-client portfolio. You’ll lead a high performing team, shape strategy with biotech and large pharma sponsors, and deliver measurable improvements in yield, robustness and release timelines across biologics and small-molecule programs. Base pay range
$150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr What you’ll do
Lead and develop a team of process/MSAT engineers (hiring, coaching, performance, succession). Own end-to-end tech transfer from clinical through PPQ and commercial: URS, risk assessments, FAT/SAT, engineering runs, validation and continued process verification. Drive operational excellence: OEE uplift, cycle-time reduction, right-first-time, deviation/RCA and CAPA effectiveness. Partner with client technical teams on CMC strategy, change control and regulatory readiness (GMP, PPQ, filings, inspections). Scale processes across sites and trains; standardise best practice and digital/analytics use for process monitoring. Manage budgets, resources and timelines across multiple client programs; influence SOWs and governance. What you bring
BSc/MSc in Chemical, Biochemical or Mechanical Engineering (or related). 8–15 years in GMP manufacturing/MSAT, with significant CDMO experience. Proven leadership of teams delivering tech transfer and commercial support in multi-product, multi-client environments. Strong client-facing skills; comfortable presenting to sponsor SMEs and QA/Reg. Hands-on track record improving yield, robustness and batch release predictability. Nice to have: continuous processing, PAT/Raman or advanced control, aseptic/ATMP exposure. Location and travel
