The State Attorney’s Office seeks an assistant state attorney with at least three years’ experience to serve as a Civil Litigator for the South Florida Financial Crimes Strike Force (Strike Force). The Strike Force is a multi‑agency unit focused on investigating money laundering, fraud, smuggling, narcotics trafficking, terrorist financing, and other financial‑crime activities. The successful candidate will litigate forfeiture actions in the Civil Division of the Circuit Court and will provide legal advice and guidance to detectives conducting proactive investigations. The role requires strong writing, organizational, and litigation skills, as well as a solid understanding of Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights.
Compensation : $78,000 – $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus full state benefits and a $5,000 cost‑area differential.
