Compound Manager – Monte Rosa Therapeutics
Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr.
Monte Rosa Therapeutics is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Compound Manager to consolidate and maintain a Compound management function in Boston, collaborating closely with our Basel Compound management team. The successful candidate will be accountable for storage, retrieval, and distribution of Monte Rosa’s compound collection for biological profiling, both internally and externally across global sites.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Manage receipt, storage, inventory, and distribution of compounds for biological assays.
Perform hand‑on lab work such as solubilization of solids, weighing, aliquoting, and plate preparations to fulfill requests from scientists.
Maintain Boston Library plate integrity.
Run methods for Compound QC on LCMS under supervision from analytical chemists.
Operate and troubleshoot automated instruments following SOPs.
Perform quality controls to preserve sample integrity.
Track compound distribution to maintain accurate inventory.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing compound shipments to/from CROs, partners, and collaborators.
Maintain safe workplaces and uphold compound cleanness and security standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
3–5 years of applicable experience in the life sciences industry.
BSc/MSc or equivalent in a related scientific discipline, preferably Chemistry.
Hands‑on experience in compound management and strong understanding of underlying processes.
Experience operating and troubleshooting instrumentation (acoustic dispensers, liquid handlers, automated stores).
Experience with LIMS systems.
Experience in LCMS (plus).
Experience writing SOPs.
Excellent communication skills with internal and external personnel.
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple projects.
