Overview
Ocean Import Coordinator (Bilingual) at Aston Carter. The Import Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and arranging air and ocean import services for domestic and international goods, including local pickups from ocean ports and airports, ensuring timely clearance and delivery, and maintaining compliance with U.S. CBP and other regulatory agencies. The role involves frequent communication with customers, vendors, and partners, compiling operational data, and supporting ad-hoc projects. Daily activity reporting to management is required. Responsibilities
Coordinate and arrange air import services for domestic and international goods. Communicate with customers, vendors, and partners in processing shipments. Expedite clearance and delivery to meet client requirements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Maintain and compile operational information, including customer/vendor profiles, quotes, and related data. Provide daily activity reports to management. Support other ad-hoc projects as requested by management. Qualifications
Essential: Minimum 2 years’ experience in Ocean Import Operations. Technical know-how in freight forwarding and logistics. Familiarity with air and ocean import processes. Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Additional Skills & Qualifications
CargoWise experience (preferred but not required). Spanish language skills. Experience with customer/vendor communication and documentation. Ability to adapt to different freight forwarder processes. Strong cultural fit and team-oriented mindset. Clear and effective communication skills. Problem-solving and decision-making ability. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Service-oriented approach. Work Environment
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with occasional 1-hour overtime. Setting: Office-based, desk environment. Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
