Senior Technical Product Owner, Barclays Bank US
Embark on a transformative journey as a Senior Technical Product Owner. At Barclays, our vision is clear—to redefine the future of banking and help craft innovative solutions. In this role, you will guide the delivery of various GTA transaction cycle projects that meet expected business outcomes and comply with associated governance and control standards. You will focus on driving development and business analysis to ensure clear project requirements are obtained and approved while verifying alignment with Engineering timelines, including key milestones, to support target delivery dates.
This role is located in Wilmington, DE.
Responsibilities
Provision of subject‑matter expertise to support the collaboration between the product owner and the technical side of product development.
Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap and communicate them to the relevant stakeholders and the development team.
Collaboration with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility that are well defined, measurable, and secure.
Development and implementation of assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance.
Monitoring of product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation that meet the bank’s performance standards.
Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve product development and delivery.
Qualifications
Experience with all aspects of the design and development of financial, analytical, and reporting solutions within a large organization, across multiple business areas.
Ability to run major projects through completion.
Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with and present to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Experience managing delivery with resources across multiple levels and teams, triage tactical priorities.
