Data Scientist - Supply Chain Management
We are seeking a Data Scientist to lead analytical initiatives within our supply chain management domain. The role focuses on leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to drive process improvements and business insights.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models, data pipelines, and analytics solutions.
Analyze structured and unstructured supply‑chain data using programming (Python, SQL, etc.).
Build advanced data models, perform data engineering, and develop dashboards (Tableau, Streamlit).
Optimize performance of data solutions, including views, stored procedures, and macros.
Apply NLP and generative‑AI techniques for unstructured data processing.
Translate business problems into quantitative solutions and present findings to stakeholders.
Develop front‑end user interfaces (JavaScript, Streamlit) and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Champion agile practices and deliver iterative, high‑quality solutions.
Continuously evaluate emerging tools to enhance data strategy.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Supply Chain Management or related field (master’s preferred).
Strong proficiency in Python and/or other programming languages.
Experience with SQL, data manipulation, performance tuning, statistical modeling.
Hands‑on in AI/ML modeling, data engineering, data analytics, and Tableau.
Experience with Azure DevOps, unstructured data processing, and NLP.
Exposure to generative‑AI and agentic AI frameworks.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of supply‑chain processes (inventory, procurement, finance, logistics).
Domain Knowledge Strong grasp of supply‑chain processes including inventory management, procurement, finance, and logistics.
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 per annum.
