The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant – Application Modernization. In this role, you’ll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will drive customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of architecting/operating solutions on any cloud service provider (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years delivering application architecture, design, and modernization projects, including cloud‑based solutions and AI/automation
3+ years experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Professional level certification or Associate’s degree or above
Proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.)
Experience with automation and scripting (Terraform, Python)
Knowledge of security and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR)
Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
Experience delivering large‑scale software development and modernization initiatives with expertise in multiple programming languages (Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, microservices) and Generative AI tools/technologies
Proven ability to deliver software engineering best practices across testing, source control, code reviews, and deployment/release management processes
