As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of IT infrastructure across DriveTime Car Sales locations. This position demands deep technical expertise, proactive problem‑solving, and a strong commitment to operational excellence in a dynamic enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities Systems & Directory Services
Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Active Directory, including GPOs, user/computer account management, and domain services.
Manage and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, and printing solutions across field and corporate environments. Hands‑on experience with PrinterLogic (Vasion) preferred.
Support and maintain VDI deployments, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
Ensure high system availability and performance to maximize end‑user productivity.
Cloud & SaaS Administration
Provide advanced support and configuration for Microsoft 365, including Office, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Intune, and Copilot.
Provide support for SaaS cloud systems, including SSO and SCIM integrations.
Endpoint & Device Management
Mobile Device Management (MDM) utilizing SOTI MobiControl, Kandji, and Intune.
Deliver remote site management and support across multiple locations, ensuring consistent uptime and system reliability.
Infrastructure & Networking
Maintain and support MDF/IDF infrastructure, including hardware, cabling, and environmental monitoring.
Troubleshoot and support Cisco/Meraki SD‑WAN infrastructure.
Automation & Scripting
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Experience in Microsoft Graph and/or Power Automate is a plus.
Collaboration & Support
Collaborate with Data Center Services and End User Computing teams to execute cross‑functional technical initiatives.
Serve as an escalation point for unresolved Tier 1 support issues, providing expert‑level troubleshooting and resolution.
Demonstrate adaptability and continuous learning in a fast‑paced, evolving IT landscape.
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive IT Operations experience, with at least 3 years in Systems Administration within an enterprise environment.
Proven expertise in Windows Server technologies, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365 administration.
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell for automation and system management.
Experience with cloud‑based SaaS platforms, including identity and access management.
Solid understanding of network infrastructure, particularly Cisco/Meraki SD‑WAN.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to work independently.
Required scheduled on‑call rotation (one week per month).
Some on‑site work may be required as dictated by business needs.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Nice to Have but Not Required
Experience working with external IT vendors and General Contractors.
Mobile Device Management: Intune, MobiControl and Kandji.
Access Controls/Security (Physical and camera): Verkada, Kantech/Entrapass and Milestone.
Enterprise Application upgrade and troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge and support experience with Apple devices.
MCSA or MCSE.
CCENT or CCNA.
ITIL Foundation or higher.
