About The Role Our client is a well‑funded FinTech company with $42 million in total funding, building a modern banking and cash management platform for businesses that sell physical goods. Their mission is to turn banking from a cost center into a profit center by automating financial tasks for consumer brands with sales between $5 million and $200 million. They already serve hundreds of customers that collectively produce over $1 billion in GMV.
They are looking for a Founding iOS Engineer to launch and own the entire mobile experience. This is a critical, high‑impact role focused on transforming complex financial data into a simple, beautiful, high‑performance iOS application that customers will use daily.
What You’ll Do
Own end‑to‑end mobile development: architect, implement, and launch the entire iOS application from the ground up
Build polished UX: create intuitive, high‑performance user interfaces that simplify complex financial data, collaborating closely with the design team to ensure a polished, on‑brand user experience
Define best practices: establish the technical standards and best practices for mobile engineering, including code quality, testing, CI/CD, analytics, and crash reporting
Cross‑functional collaboration: coordinate with backend engineers to define API needs and work across the stack when necessary to unblock features
Drive ownership: thrive in an ambiguous setting, make product trade‑offs, and help build a product that shapes company culture
Requirements
4+ years of experience building and maintaining iOS applications in production
Experience designing architecture and making product trade‑offs in ambiguous settings
A strong eye for design and a passion for delivering polished user experiences
Benefits
Salary: $200K - $240K
Equity: 0.05% - 0.10%
