About the Role As a Principal APX Project Manager you will work cross‑functionally to establish components needed to be procured for open projects. You will manage the database and work with the teams to ensure PO readiness based on procurement status, manage multiple work streams directly supporting project opportunities related to AP1000, AP300, and other products within the APX Delivery Portfolio. You will report to the Project Manager 2, Global AP1000 Delivery Stream. Candidates must meet the criteria for access to the company’s, partners’, and clients’ technologies and comply with import/export controls laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and resolve gaps in the project component database.
Maintain accurate records of delivered components for assigned projects.
Track components to be procured by APX Delivery for assigned projects.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of project scope.
Monitor and report project metrics and database status regularly.
Lead execution of project scope based on established priorities.
Support and drive resolution of project‑related issues as needed.
Facilitate cross‑functional team meetings to manage scope development and implementation.
Lead supplier kick‑off and pre‑job meetings for critical manufacturing activities.
Conduct regular coordination meetings with suppliers and internal project teams.
Oversee supplier execution, including QA witness points, fabrication, testing, and documentation.
Manage purchase order changes and ensure scope completion.
Provide schedule and status updates to stakeholders; coordinate shipments with logistics, ensuring compliance with procedures and standards.
Qualifications
Project Management
Minimum 5 years of experience in the Power Generation, Nuclear, or similar regulated industries.
Knowledgeable in a programming software is a plus but not required.
Fluent in English; secondary language skills a plus but not required.
Willing to travel to support emergent project issues/supplier development up to 20%.
Scope Management
– Lead execution of project scope and facilitate cross‑functional meetings.
Supplier Development & Management
– Lead supplier kick‑offs, coordinate with suppliers, oversee QA, fabricate, test, and documentation.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Power Engineering preferred, or other relevant field of study.

Base salary range for this position is estimated to be $90,000 to $112,500 per year.
