Position Summary We’re looking for a driven and resourceful Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate is excited to be the first salesperson on our team and eager to work in the office, to learn, develop, collaborate, work hard, and achieve success. In this high-impact role, you will prospect new clients, generate interest in our environmental solutions, and drive the early stages of the sales cycle. You'll play a pivotal role in growing our business by identifying and qualifying opportunities and collaborating closely with senior leadership to bring deals across the finish line. Responsibilities Proactively prospect new business through cold calls, outbound emails, LinkedIn outreach, industry events, and in-person canvassing Research and identify target companies and key decision-makers in the health, safety, and environmental space Initiate contact, nurture leads, schedule meetings, qualify opportunities, and work directly with Alta leadership to successfully acquire customers Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to generate new leads and build brand awareness Maintain detailed records of sales activity in the company’s CRM Contribute to the refinement of sales messaging, outreach strategies, and qualification processes Requirements 2+ years of experience in outbound sales, cold calling, or business development roles, preferably in a B2B industry. A self-starter with a proven track record of hustle, persistence, and follow-through Excellent verbal and written communicator with the ability to engage at all levels Curious, analytical, and motivated to learn about complex client environments and environmental compliance issues Thrives in a 100% in-office setting with strong day-to-day collaboration Comfortable managing multiple outreach channels and handling rejection with resilience Why Join Alta?
